Clorie Benner of AstraZeneca Named National Award Winner
MENLO PARK, CA -- OfficeTeam, International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and Targeted Learning Corporation (TLC) today announced that Clorie Benner, administrative coordinator for Wilmington, Del.-based AstraZeneca, has been selected as the winner of the 2005 OfficeTeam Administrative Excellence Award. The award recognizes the outstanding performance of administrative professionals who demonstrate continued commitment to leadership, education and operational efficiency, and who provide credible contributions to their profession.
Considered a leader among her peers, Benner frequently manages projects within the Medical Affairs group at AstraZeneca. She also attends non-mandatory training sessions within the organization and participates in computer courses to keep her skills current. Benner is currently working toward her master’s degree in business administration. To boost her company’s bottom line, she tracks spending, keeps projects within budget and works with vendors to improve turnaround time on invoice payments.
